Location: MediaCityUK, Salford, Greater Manchester
Hybrid Working: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
Salary: c£50,000p.a. (dependent on experience) + excellent benefits

At SIS, we're looking for a commercially minded and analytical Finance Manager to join our Finance team in MediaCityUK. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified finance professional who enjoys combining financial reporting, business partnering and process improvement to drive better business decisions.
Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality financial insight across the business, supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles, and helping stakeholders understand performance and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

What you'll be doing
As Finance Manager, you'll be at the heart of the financial planning and reporting process, with responsibilities including:
- Financial Reporting & Management Accounts
- Preparing monthly management accounts, including actuals vs budget and forecast analysis.
- Producing meaningful variance analysis and commentary for senior stakeholders.
- Reviewing accruals, prepayments, journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Conducting cost centre reviews and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Developing KPI reporting and supporting management reporting packs with insightful analysis.

Budgeting & Forecasting
- Supporting the preparation and delivery of annual budgets and reforecast cycles.
- Working closely with operational and commercial teams to build detailed, bottom-up forecasts.
- Helping the business understand key financial drivers and performance trends.

Business Partnering
- Building strong relationships across the organisation to gain a deep understanding of SIS operations.
- Providing financial insight, analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Supporting new business initiatives, systems development and process improvement programmes.
- Delivering ad hoc analysis and reporting to stakeholders across the business.

Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Supporting and developing the Assistant Management Accountant.
- Contributing to finance transformation and process improvement initiatives.
- Supporting the ongoing development and utilisation of reporting tools, including Vena.
- Championing best practice, efficiency and innovation across the finance function.
What we're looking for
We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or are Qualified by Experience).
- Previous experience within a Finance Manager, Management Accountant or FP&A-focused role.
- Strong financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The confidence to challenge, influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive mindset and passion for process improvement.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

In this role, you'll:
- Deliver accurate and timely monthly management accounts and insightful financial analysis.
- Build strong partnerships across the business and become a trusted financial adviser to stakeholders.
- Support the development of the Assistant Management Accountant.
- Contribute to accurate, value-adding budgets and forecasts.
- Help drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and reporting.
