Finance Manager (Hands On)

Finance Manager

Do you enjoy running an efficient finance function and finding better ways of working?

We're looking for a hands-on Finance Manager who takes pride in producing accurate financial information, maintaining strong financial controls, and delivering a first-class finance operation. You'll enjoy rolling your sleeves up, taking ownership, and continually looking for ways to improve how we work.


About Us

We're a growing international business, manufacturing and supplying furniture to some of the hospitality industry's best-known brands.

We currently operate across:

  • United Kingdom
  • Europe
  • United States with our headquarters based in Oxfordshire.

We've invested in NetSuite OneWorld across the Group and are currently rolling it out internationally. As a key member of the finance team, you'll help us maximise its potential while supporting the next stage of our growth.

Working closely with our Finance Director, you'll play a central role in ensuring our finance function continues to support the business as it grows.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Ensuring the finance ledgers are accurate, complete and maintained to a high standard
  • Playing a key role in the month-end close and production of management accounts
  • Owning balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining strong financial controls
  • Overseeing day-to-day finance administration, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time
  • Supporting Accounts Payable and Credit Control, including providing cover when required
  • Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and maximise the use of NetSuite
  • Supporting the Finance Director with accurate, timely financial information

Ideal Experience

(You'll be considered for this role if you have:)

✔ Experience in a stock-based business (e.g., manufacturing, wholesale, or distribution) ✔ Month-end accounting experience ✔ ERP experience (NetSuite knowledge is an advantage) ✔ Strong systems aptitude with a good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (particularly Excel) ✔ Experience with standard costing (inventory) and multi-currency accounting ✔ A proactive mindset and a passion for improving processes
