We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded Finance Manager to join our Head Office team in Hanger Green. This is a broad, high-profile role that sits at the heart of the business, taking ownership of Head Office finance while partnering with leaders across Finance, HR and the Executive team to provide meaningful insight and support key decision-making.
You'll also play an important role in strengthening financial controls across the wider Group, helping to improve processes, challenge risks, and drive best practice across our finance function.
What you’ll be doing
Taking ownership of the accounting and financial reporting for our Head Office functions Managing month-end activities, including accruals, prepayments, journals and balance sheet reconciliations Preparing monthly management accounts and performance reports Delivering insightful variance analysis, identifying trends, risks and opportunities Partnering with budget holders and senior stakeholders across the business Leading the annual budgeting process for corporate functions Producing forecasts and supporting strategic planning activities Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations across Group businesses and challenging outstanding issues Supporting subsidiary finance teams to improve controls and reporting consistency Driving continuous improvement across finance processes, reporting and controls Supporting wider finance transformation and system enhancement projects

What we’re looking for
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience with relevant Group finance experience Strong management accounting, financial reporting or finance business partnering experience Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of key areas of responsibility Confident communicating and building relationships with stakeholders at all levels A proactive approach with the confidence to challenge and improve existing processes Ambition to develop your career within a growing finance function
