Finance Manager
Sharpsmart Finance team is expanding and has an opportunity for a Finance Manager to join the team in a hybrid role, splitting time between our Spennymoor office and your home office, and reporting directly to the Finance Controller. This is an exciting new position for the Finance team and will focus on overseeing end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, and looking to make continuous improvements and ad hoc finance-based projects.
Your Role Will Involve:
- Leading the billing, income, and revenue department
- Liaising with various stakeholders externally and internally
- Reporting and analytical overviews to senior management and leadership on department performance and customer performances
- Ongoing support and development of policies and procedures
- Identifying opportunities to improve income, billing, and revenue strategies
- Reviewing and analyzing data to identify trends and areas of improvement
- Overseeing and providing leadership to a team of professionals
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Collaborating with other group international Finance managers on best practices
- Participating in ongoing UK finance strategic planning

What We Are Looking For:

- ACA or Degree qualified in relevant finance-focused subject with a minimum of 3 years' practical work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Packages including Excel and other finance systems
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
