About the Role
Your new company
I am currently supporting a leading organisation who are looking to hire an interim finance professional during a critical period of operational change. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the finance function.
You’re an ideal candidate if you’re available immediately and are considering a temporary-to-permanent position.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join on an interim basis initially for 6 months. Your support will be critical in addressing core finance operations and ensuring continuity during a busy, transitional period. This role will contribute to maintaining financial control, reporting accuracy, and strategic decisions made by senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations, ensuring robust financial controls
- Lead on monthly management accounts, reporting, and financial analysis
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
- Support year-end preparation and audit activities where required
- Provide financial insights and reporting to senior management
- Supervise and support junior finance team members
- Identify and implement process improvements in controls, reporting efficiency, and finance workflows
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making

Key Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (preferably with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Proven expertise in a Finance Manager or comparable senior finance role
- Strong background in management reporting and financial control
- Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment, ideally within a shared service centre
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
