The Role

The role of Finance Manager sits in the Finance team and reports into the Head of Finance. The Finance Manager plays a key role in the reporting environment to both internal and external customers.

So, what does that actually mean?

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Ownership of balance sheet reconciliation process
  • Multi-currency cash management, forecasting and reporting for business accounts across the group
  • Lead Treasury reconciliation project
  • Ownership of the monthly Corporate commission calculations and payments
  • Ownership of profit sweep process across the group including monthly reconciliations
  • Management of annual audit process
  • Improve and document the control environment
  • Responsibility for completing regulatory and statistical returns to given deadlines

What else will help you to succeed in this role?

  • Part qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3 years working in an accounting environment
  • Self-starter who is happy to challenge ways of working to improve the control environment
  • Adaptive to changing objectives and the ability to prioritise accordingly
  • Knowledge of Sage 300 or general ledgers an advantage but not essential
