As Finance Manager, you will lead an important operational finance function whilst partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation. You'll combine financial leadership, team management and process improvement with the opportunity to make a genuine impact on both colleagues and the wider community. The Role
Reporting directly into the Head of Finance, responsibilities will include:
- Leading, mentoring and developing a small finance team.
- Ownership of a significant operational finance function.
- Driving continuous improvement across finance processes, controls and systems (Dynamics).
- Producing meaningful management information and performance reporting.
- Supporting treasury management, cashflow activities and VAT responsibilities.
- Managing sensitive financial matters with professionalism and empathy.
- Working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
- Supporting wider finance transformation and operational improvement initiatives.
- Deputising for senior finance leadership when required.
About You
You are likely to be:

- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- An experienced Finance Manager, Financial Controller or Senior Management Accountant.
- Someone who enjoys leading people and developing teams.
- Commercially minded but equally comfortable operating within a service-led environment.
- Someone who enjoys improving processes and making things work better.
- Looking for a role that offers genuine purpose alongside professional challenge.
This is a 12 month fixed-term contract ideally starting asap with excellent exposure and the opportunity to join an exceptional organisation and finance team.
