The Opportunity
Multiverse is a fast-growing, AI-powered apprenticeship platform on a mission to create a diverse talent pipeline that transforms businesses and careers. As we expand across the UK, US, and Europe, we’re building the financial infrastructure to support growth.
You’ll report to the Senior Finance Manager and own international controllership, ensuring global accuracy and compliance across multiple legal entities:
- Keep financial records precise across diverse jurisdictions
- Lead controls, risk documentation, transfer pricing compliance, and VAT filings
- Drive automation and efficiency in the close process, leveraging AI and automation
Specifically, you will:
Key Responsibilities
- Own month-end reporting, reconcilations, and compliance for international entities
- Manage end-to-end intercompany accounting, including recharges, loan balances, eliminations, and intercompany agreement maintenance
- Support transfer pricing compliance, maintaining schedules, coordinating with advisors, and ensuring policies align with subsidiaries’ holdings
- Own and evolve our team’s financial controls and risk framework (RCM/SOX-lite principles), including testing, gap identification, and remediation
- Act as the primary auditor liaison for international statutory compliance
- Facilitate legal structure reorganisations, assessing and capturing accounting and tax impacts
- Identify and implement NetSuite efficiency improvements for faster, more robust financial close processes
- Support analytical commentary on subsidiary-level results for managerial review

About You
You’re a qualified accountant who thrives in chaotic, high-growth environments—where order emerges from complexity, and well-constructed controls drive both speed and stability. International accounting nuances don’t intimidate you.
Requirements
- Qualification: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA with 2–5 years post-qualification experience, preferably in:
- A Big Four practice or multi-entity environment
- International or multi-jurisdictional accountancy roles
- Specialist knowledge:
- Hands-on experience with intercompany transactions (recharges, eliminations, loans, settlement processes)
- Understanding of transfer pricing principles and proven experience assisting advisors throughout TP documentation processes
- Working knowledge of controls/risk frameworks (SOX, RCM, or internal audit)—with practical documentation and testing experience
- Technical proficiency:
- NetSuite experience (preferred: designing reports, streamlining workflows)
- Technical bonus:
- Basic familiarity with German accounting principles (HGB/local GAAP)
