About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Finance Manager to oversee the financial management and reporting functions related to our Holiday Home Sales, Owner Income, and Property operations. This pivotal role involves ensuring robust financial controls, delivering accurate and insightful management reports, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. The successful candidate will lead and develop a team of four finance professionals, champion process improvements, and contribute to shaping the future financial strategy of the business. The role requires a proactive approach, strong technical expertise, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Post-qualification experience in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Experience with financial reporting and management accounts
- Knowledge of Sun Systems (preferred but not essential)
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of four finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and improvement-oriented culture
- Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts for Holiday Home Sales, Owner Income, and Property functions
- Maintain strong financial controls, including timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations
- Analyse variances and provide insightful commentary to influence decision-making
- Contribute to monthly rolling forecasts by identifying risks and opportunities
- Act as a trusted finance partner to operational leaders, offering guidance and commercial insights
- Support cost-efficiency initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance margin performance
- Improve reporting processes, systems, and internal controls for efficiency and accuracy
- Provide support on strategic projects and deliver ad hoc financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with information security policies and report any weaknesses or breaches
- Take responsibility for personal health and safety, and support safeguarding initiatives across the business
