Finance Manager
Location: Ringwood, Hampshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Job Type: Full-time, Office Based
Salary: Competitive salary – dependent on experience
We are a growing design and manufacturing studio based in the New Forest, England, specialising in bespoke products for leading retailers and brands. As a family-run business, we pride ourselves on creativity, quality and building long-term relationships with our customers.
Due to continued growth and an exciting pipeline of projects, we are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager to join our team and work closely with the business owner to support the next stage of our development.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Owner, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day financial management of the business and provide financial insight to support operational and strategic decisions across the company.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Cash flow management and reporting.
- Inventory and stock valuation.
- Margin and profitability analysis.
- Preparation for draft annual accounts for audit to complete.
- Payroll oversight.
- VAT returns preparation.
- Producing board-level reports and key performance indicators.
- Supporting operational and production teams with financial analysis and business partnering.
- Responsibility for purchasing and supplier expenditure management.
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls as the business grows.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A full professional accounting qualification (AAT or any of the following: (ACCA, CIMA)
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a finance management or similar role.
- Experience within manufacturing or product-based businesses would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero or Sage.
- Strong Excel Analyse skills with formulas such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF.
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of the finance function.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with colleagues across the business.
