Finance Manager
12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Kingsbridge, Devon
£40,000 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a successful and growing SME on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Candidates seeking either 4 or 5 days per week will be considered.
This is a busy, demanding opportunity that would suit a hands-on Finance Manager or Company Accountant who enjoys working in a varied role with ownership across the day-to-day finance function.
The responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day finance operations and ensure smooth running of the function
- Produce accurate financial reports and provide insight to support business decisions
- Prepare quarterly management accounts and supporting analysis
- Manage cash flow forecasting, monitoring, and reporting
- Maintain robust financial controls
- Liaise with external auditors and support the year-end audit process
- Work closely with senior leadership to provide commercial financial support
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and add value across the business

- Experienced Finance Manager with a strong hands-on SME background
- Confident managing a broad finance function with minimal supervision
- Strong understanding of management accounts, reporting, and cash flow
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
