Finance Manager, Creative Agency, London - Permanent, Full Time
up to £70,000 DOE
MUST HAVE US GAAP EXPERIENCE
Robert Half is partnering with a fast-growing, PE-backed global creative agency to recruit a Finance Manager to join its finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an all-round accountant looking for a broad, hands-on role within a dynamic and entrepreneurial business. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll take ownership of the month-end process, financial reporting, revenue accounting, compliance, and business partnering activities across the organization as well as direct management of one junior report.

- Ownership of the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Preparation and review of monthly P&L and Balance Sheet reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of a strong controls environment
- Revenue recognition and revenue accounting, including accrued and deferred revenue analysis
- Oversight of project accounting, WIP reviews, and profitability reporting
- VAT returns and wider tax compliance activities
- Cash flow management and forecasting support
- Management of AP and AR processes, including debtor reviews and collections
- Support external audits and statutory reporting requirements
- Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders across the business
- Team Management of 1 direct report

About You
We're looking for an accountant with strong financial reporting (month-end, balance sheet, VAT, etc.) who has experience with US GAAP. It is beneficial to have revenue experience.
Key Requirements:
- Experience managing month-end reporting and financial controls
- US GAAP is ESSENTIAL
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and revenue reconciliations
- Experience preparing P&L and Balance Sheet reporting
- VAT compliance experience
- Strong balance sheet reconciliation and controls background
