Finance Manager - Tax
Central London – Hybrid

Overview
An established private property group with a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial property interests are hiring a Finance Manager with solid tax experience to join their head office in Central London.
The role will work closely with the Finance Director and family shareholders and would suit someone looking for a role that combines technical accounting, tax, and property finance.
Responsibilities
- Managing the financial affairs of a diverse portfolio of family-owned entities.
- Preparing and reviewing annual statutory accounts across the Group.
- Coordinating and submitting company tax returns.
- Managing family personal tax compliance and working with external advisers where required.
- Supporting the implementation and ongoing management of the Group's tax planning structure.
- Preparing quarterly VAT and income tax submissions to HMRC.
- Reviewing the work of the offshore finance team and ensuring high standards of financial reporting.
- Liaising with external accountants, tax advisers, and other professional advisers.
- Supporting the Finance Director with ad hoc projects and wider financial management.

Profile
- Qualified Accountant, preferably with training gained in public practice, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of five years' post-qualified experience, ideally including tax experience gained in an accountancy practice.
- Strong knowledge of statutory accounts preparation and corporate tax compliance.
- Experience within the property sector is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working within an owner-managed or family-owned business.
- Exposure to personal tax and property tax would be a distinct advantage.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple entities and competing priorities.
- Experience using Yardi would be beneficial, although candidates with strong financial systems experience will also be considered.
