Finance Manager

We're looking for a Finance Manager to join our Workplace Solutions team.

Location

Flexible on location - hybrid working available with travel to offices and sites as required

Hours

40 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of financial management and commercial governance for a portfolio of PFI and Facilities Management contracts worth approximately £45m. You'll be working closely with Regional Operations Managers, providing trusted financial insight and supporting operational teams to deliver excellent client outcomes. This role offers the chance to make a real impact, using your commercial expertise to drive performance and support strategic decision-making.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Finance Manager, You'll Be Working Within The Workplace Solutions Team, Supporting Them In Delivering Robust Financial Management And Commercial Excellence Across a Portfolio Of Contracts. Your Day To Day Will Include

  • Taking full ownership of contract P&Ls, budgets, forecasts, and monthly management accounts
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual financial mechanisms and managing change controls and variations
  • Acting as a trusted finance partner to Regional Managers, translating financial data into clear commercial insight
  • Leading, developing, and supporting a Finance Assistant to drive process improvement and excellence
  • Travelling to contract sites across your portfolio to build strong client relationships and support operational delivery

What are we looking for?

This role of Finance Manager is great for you if:

  • You're a qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA) with post-qualification experience in Facilities Management, outsourcing, or services contracts
  • You have excellent stakeholder management skills and enjoy building collaborative relationships across teams
  • You're commercially astute, detail-focused, and confident in challenging constructively
  • You're prepared to travel to contract sites to support effective business partnering and client relationships
  • You have experience managing and developing team members, with a continuous improvement mindset
