Role Description
This full-time Accounts Clerk role is an on-site position based in Allington. The Accounts Clerk will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including processing invoices, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with month-end reconciliations.

Responsibilities

- Managing purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control activities
- Helping to prepare financial reports and documentation
- Maintaining accurate records
- Responding to internal and external finance-related queries
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth financial operations
The Accounts Clerk will contribute to maintaining the company’s high standards of service by delivering timely and precise financial support.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting and finance skills, including experience with ledgers, reconciliations, and basic financial reporting.
- Practical experience in credit control and managing petty cash with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for working with colleagues, suppliers, and customers on finance-related matters.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Organized, methodical approach to work, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role preferred; relevant qualifications in accounting or finance are an advantage.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and complying with financial policies and procedures.
