Finance Manager | Private Equity-Backed | ACA / ACCA / CIMA
6 month contract, ASAP Start
Salary - c£70,000 p.a plus benefits
I am currently partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed group seeking a technically strong and commercially aware Finance Manager / Group Accountant to join their central finance function.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and wants exposure to group reporting, acquisitions, systems optimisation and strategic finance activity.
The Role
Reporting to the Group Head of Finance, you will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, consolidation, compliance and process improvement across the group. You will be involved in:

- Supporting the integration of new acquisitions including systems, policies and compliance
- Group consolidation and monthly reporting packs
- Responsible for budgeting and forecasting
- Preparation of financial statements for non-trading entities
- Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close
- Debt facilities management and covenant calculations
- Audit preparation and corporation tax support
- Loan note interest payments and HMRC returns
- FRS 102 compliance across the group
- Developing and strengthening internal controls

What We Are Looking For
- Fully qualified accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and FRS 102
- Consolidation experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Proactive, adaptable and keen to improve processes
