12 Month Fixed Term Contract
📍 Location: Kingsbridge, Devon 💰 Salary: £40,000 per annum 👔 Contract: 4- or 5-day working week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager or Company Accountant to join a fast-growing SME on a fixed-term contract.
About the Role
This dynamic position would suit someone who thrives in a hands-on finance environment, with the opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations, ensuring smooth execution
- Produce and deliver accurate financial reports, supporting strategic decision-making
- Compile and analyse quarterly management accounts
- Manage cash flow forecasting, monitoring, and reporting
- Maintain robust financial controls
- Coordinate with external auditors and assist with year-end audit processes
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to provide financial insights
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and add business value

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Company Accountant within an SME
- Strong ability to manage broad finance functions autonomously
- In-depth knowledge of management accounts, reporting and cash flow
- Self-motivated, adaptable and comfortable in fast-paced environments
