We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our team at Queen’s Hospital, Romford, supporting a significant Hard Facilities Management (FM) PFI contract. This is a highly visible role where you will work closely with operational leaders and our client, helping to drive financial performance, support strategic decision-making, and identify opportunities for commercial growth.
Working on an established and profitable contract generating over £26 million in annual revenue, you will play a key role in managing the day-to-day financial operations, providing expert financial guidance, and leading on the evaluation, negotiation and implementation of contract variations.

Main Responsibilities
- Partnering with operational leaders and the Commercial Finance Controller to support strategic and commercial decision-making.
- Leading the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes, providing challenge and insight to drive performance.
- Producing accurate monthly financial reporting, including WIP, lifecycle works, contract variations and major projects.
- Ensuring all client billing is accurate, compliant with contractual mechanisms and supported by appropriate documentation.
- Analysing financial performance and providing clear commentary, insights and recommendations.
- Building strong relationships with the client and supporting financial review meetings.
- Driving continuous improvement, commercial awareness and financial accountability across the contract.
- Maintaining robust forecasting, financial controls and cost management processes to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.

The Ideal Candidate
Essential:
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Confident communicator, able to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting and analysis skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.

Desirable:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with 2+ years' post-qualification experience.
- Knowledge of SAP, EProphit and Agenda for Change.
