Finance Manager
Salary: £45,000 + Quarterly Performance Bonus of up to £3,000 Location: Glasgow or Motherwell (two days per week at each site), up to one day working from home Type: Permanent Support: Study support towards ACCA or CIMA
Sellick Partnership is seeking a Finance Manager for a fast-growing consumer-facing business with sites in Glasgow and Motherwell. This flexible role offers a strong remuneration package and access to further qualifications.
About the Role
This varied and hands-on Finance Manager role requires accountability for all financial operations across both sites. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will be the key point of contact for financial reporting, month-end activities, budgeting, and operational controls—ensuring the business remains financially robust and informed.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day finance function across both locations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- oversee monthly close, including journals, reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
- prepare monthly P&L and management accounts with clear commentary for senior leadership
- monitor performance against budgets, identify variances and work with operational teams to address them
- manage cash handling, payment processing and daily financial controls
- handle purchase ledger whilst ensuring expenditure is recorded and reported accurately
- maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with company financial procedures
- Split time between Glasgow and Motherwell (two days per week at each site)

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a senior finance role (preferably within a consumer-facing or operational environment)
- Strong month-end close and management accounts preparation experience
- Part-qualified or fully qualified: AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
- Exceptional Excel skills and adaptability to work with multiple financial systems
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and capable of operating independently across multiple locations
- Excellent communication skills for translating financial information to non-finance colleagues
