Finance Manager / Management Accountant

Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days in the office)
Salary: £55,000–£65,000 + Benefits

Finance Manager / Management Accountant | High-Growth D2C Challenger Brand

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast-growing D2C challenger brand that's disrupting the consumer market through innovation, creativity and ambitious growth plans.

With continued expansion across eCommerce, retail and international markets, the business is looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager / Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is a hands-on role offering real exposure to senior leadership and the chance to influence commercial decision-making within a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll take ownership of the monthly management accounts process while providing meaningful financial insight to support business performance. This is a broad role that combines financial reporting, business partnering and continuous improvement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a scaling business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and board reporting packs
  • Produce monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
  • Partner with commercial, operations and supply chain teams to provide financial insight
  • Analyse sales performance, product margins and channel profitability
  • Support inventory accounting and stock reconciliations
  • Assist with year-end audit and statutory reporting
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes and controls
  • Support commercial projects and wider finance initiatives as the business grows

About You

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or finalist with strong relevant experience)
  • Experience producing full management accounts
  • Background within consumer products, retail, FMCG, eCommerce or another fast-paced commercial environment
  • Strong commercial awareness with excellent analytical skills
  • Confident communicator who enjoys working with stakeholders across the business
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using modern accounting systems
  • Proactive, organised and comfortable working in a high-growth environment
