Finance Officer (Direct Payments)

Finance Officer – Direct Payments Specialist (Part-Time) within Children’s Services

About the Role

We are recruiting for a Finance Officer to join our team in Children Services on a part-time basis. This role focuses specifically on the administration of Direct Payments for families of children with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up new Direct Payment packages for eligible families
  • Amend or terminate existing Direct Payment agreements as required
  • Ensure scheduled 4-weekly payment runs take place accurately
  • Prepare and perform account reconciliations to verify fund usage compliance against family plans and organisational policy
