Finance Officer (Direct Payments)
Finance Officer – Direct Payments Specialist (Part-Time) within Children’s Services
About the Role
We are recruiting for a Finance Officer to join our team in Children Services on a part-time basis. This role focuses specifically on the administration of Direct Payments for families of children with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up new Direct Payment packages for eligible families
- Amend or terminate existing Direct Payment agreements as required
- Ensure scheduled 4-weekly payment runs take place accurately
- Prepare and perform account reconciliations to verify fund usage compliance against family plans and organisational policy
