Finance Operations Coordinator
Do you have a good finance background? Are you great at working to deadlines and time management? Are you detail-oriented, organised, and passionate about supporting finance operations in a meaningful way Yes, then we may have the role for you.
We have an exciting opportunity within the Finance Operations Team for a Finance Operations Coordinator based at our Peterborough Office. You’ll play a key role in supporting our finance operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellent service across the organisation. You’ll also collaborate closely with key stakeholders and teams across Mencap, as well as external partners, to deliver accurate and timely financial support.
This role is full time (37.5 hours per week) permanent contract. We offer flexible working at Mencap, with a mixture of home and office-based working, the successful candidate will be required to commute to our Peterborough office every Monday and Thursday, which will be designated as your contractual workplace.

What will you do as a Finance Operations Coordinator? You will be responsible for processing payments Processing payments and managing invoices Preparing and posting month-end journals Handling all finance transactions to maintain the sales, purchase, and general ledgers Supporting end-to-end account management, ensuring consistency and compliance throughout the process Collaborating across departments to improve workflows and resolve queries efficiently
