Drive Financial Performance. Influence Operations. Shape the Future.

We're working with a highly respected and growing UK FMCG business to recruit an Operations Finance Manager for one of its key production sites.

This really is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams rather than sitting behind spreadsheets.

You'll become a trusted business partner to senior site leadership, helping drive profitability, operational efficiency and strategic decision making across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

If you're someone who enjoys challenging the status quo, influencing stakeholders and turning financial insight into business performance, we'd love to hear from you.

The opportunity

This is far more than a traditional finance role. You'll sit at the heart of the operation, partnering with senior leaders across manufacturing, engineering and supply chain to improve profitability, optimise costs and support investment decisions.

You'll provide the financial leadership that enables the site to make better commercial decisions while helping deliver continuous improvement across people, processes and performance.

What you'll be responsible for:

Business Partnering

  • Acting as the key finance partner to the Site Leadership Team
  • Providing commercial insight that supports operational decision making
  • Challenging and supporting budget holders to improve financial performance
  • Identifying opportunities to improve EBITDA, reduce costs and optimise efficiency
  • Supporting payroll processes and ensuring robust financial controls
  • Providing financial input into production planning and S&OP activity
  • Supporting strategic and business improvement projects

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
