Company Overview

With a company culture rooted in collaboration, expertise, and innovation, we aim to promote progress and inspire our clients, employees, investors, and communities to achieve their greatest potential. Our work is the catalyst that helps others achieve their goals. In short, We Enable Possibility℠.

Role Summary & Purpose

The Finance Optimisation Analyst is responsible for helping Finance work smarter, faster, and more effectively. Combining analytical thinking, technology expertise, and a passion for continuous improvement. The role focuses on delivering high-quality reporting, automation, and process optimisation solutions across Workday, Alteryx, DUCO, Sigma, and Anaplan. It also involves working closely with various stakeholders to seek out opportunities to simplify processes, improve data visibility, strengthen controls, and maximise the value of Arch’s Finance systems.

This is not a traditional finance reporting role. A suitable candidate is someone who is naturally curious, enjoys challenging inefficient processes, takes pride in finding better ways of doing things, and has past experience with the stated systems.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Finance reporting solutions across Workday, Sigma, Alteryx, DUCO, and Anaplan, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and controls.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Workday composite reports and discovery boards to deliver accurate and insightful information.
  • Build and maintain Alteryx workflows to automate Finance processes, transform data, and reduce manual effort.
  • Support the development, enhancement, and expansion of Anaplan models for planning, forecasting, and performance management.
  • Develop and enhance DUCO reconciliation rules and matching logic to strengthen financial controls and improve reconciliation efficiency.
  • Identify and implement practical AI solutions to improve financial reporting, automation, analysis, and operational effectiveness.
  • Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver practical reporting and system solutions.
  • Support system testing, upgrades, and change initiatives, ensuring Finance solutions remain reliable, accurate, and well controlled.
  • Promote continuous improvement by simplifying processes, improving data quality, and implementing scalable solutions.
  • Maintain the Finance Improvement Tracker, capturing business requests, prioritising workloads, and coordinating the delivery of optimisation initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
