Job Description

You will own the day-to-day finance operations at a fast-growing, profitable health-tech scale-up. Reporting to the Senior Financial Controller, you will lead month-end closes, manage management accounts, and partner with the high-growth B2B team. This is a high-impact role where you will build scalable processes to support life-changing health outcomes.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the end-to-end month-end close process, including management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and complex revenue recognition for B2B contracts.
  • Support the FP&A cycle by partnering on budgeting, forecasting, and commercial analysis to drive data-driven decision-making across the business.
  • Build and refine financial controls and processes to ensure the finance function scales effectively alongside rapid company growth.

The ideal candidate

  • A part or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a deep understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
  • Proven experience owning the month-end close in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment using tools like Xero and advanced Excel.
  • A commercially-minded critical thinker who can translate complex numbers into actionable insights for both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
