Job Description
Colliers is seeking a motivated and numerate sandwich year student to join its London Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a student currently studying a finance-related degree to gain hands-on experience within a global real estate services firm. The role will provide exposure to core finance activities, support across multiple finance functions, and the opportunity to develop practical skills in a professional corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with month-end and quarter-end financial processes
- Supporting the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Processing invoices, expense claims, and supporting accounts payable/receivable activities
- Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations
- Supporting ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests
- Working closely with wider finance and business teams to support day-to-day operations
- Adhering to internal controls, policies, and compliance requirements

Qualifications
- Must be studying a Finance degree (or closely related discipline such as Accounting, Economics, or Business with a strong finance component)
- Must be undertaking a sandwich year / industrial placement as part of their degree
- Available to be office-based in London 5 days per week
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using Microsoft Excel; experience with financial systems is an advantage but not essential
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Professional, proactive, and keen to learn
