About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Senior Manager to lead a high-performing finance team supporting a key business unit within PwC’s Deals line of service. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will provide strategic financial insight, challenge and guidance to drive performance, growth and informed decision-making. The role combines business partnering, forecasting, budgeting, revenue recognition, performance management and financial governance, while also supporting business strategy and continuous improvement initiatives. You will play a key role in developing talent, ensuring financial compliance and helping shape the future success of a dynamic and fast-paced business.
What Your Days Will Look Like
- Lead and develop a small finance team while acting as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, providing commercial insight and financial challenge to support strategic decision-making.
- Drive business performance through financial analysis, forecasting, planning and reporting, identifying risks and opportunities and translating these into actionable recommendations.
- Oversee the financial management of a significant portfolio, including revenue recognition, WIP valuation, cash flow management, financial controls and governance.
- Partner with teams across Operations and the wider finance community to deliver business objectives, lead change initiatives and support continuous improvement and investment optimisation.

This Role Is For You If
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or international equivalent) with strong analytical, problem-solving and commercial finance expertise.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders and communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.
- Proactive, results-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement, driving change and delivering business value.
- Strong technical capability, including advanced Excel skills and experience leveraging technology and automation to enhance performance.
- Collaborative and adaptable approach, with the ability to work effectively across teams and support organisational objectives.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying ahead of emerging technologies and industry best practice.
