We're partnering with an exciting, growing international organisation to recruit a Group Finance Shared Services Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a multi-site transactional finance function across the UK and Europe, while playing a key role in improving processes, driving automation, and supporting business growth.


The Role

Reporting to the VP of Finance, you'll oversee the day-to-day management of the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. This includes:

  • Leading a team of 4 direct reports and managing around 15 indirect reports.
  • Ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant finance operations.
  • Championing continuous improvement across people, processes, and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the AP & AR teams across multiple European entities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of:
    • Invoices
    • Payments
    • Billing
    • Collections
  • Drive improvements in:
    • Finance processes
    • Controls
    • Automation
  • Oversee:
    • Month-end transactional activities
    • Reconciliations
    • Financial controls
  • Support:
    • Finance transformation projects
    • Systems enhancements
    • Regulatory change initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coach and develop your team, fostering a culture of:
    • Accountability
    • Continuous improvement

Candidate Profile

  • Proven leadership experience within a Shared Services or Transactional Finance environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
  • Experience driving:
    • Process improvement
    • Finance transformation initiatives
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A proactive, analytical, and solutions-focused approach.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (or equivalent).
