Role: Finance Specialist - Accounting (Remote)
Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)
Job Type: Part-Time
Payout: $15 - $25/hour
Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Finance Specialist to work on a part-time basis. The role involves financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance tasks with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. Candidates will support routine accounting functions while ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, and internal audit requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and resolve financial discrepancies promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in financial reporting and reconciliation processes is required.
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is required.
- Knowledge of GAAP standards and tax compliance regulations is required.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders are required.
