Process Improvement Specialist (Finance Transformation)

Private Equity Backed | High Growth | UK (Hybrid)

The Opportunity

WTalent has partnered with a highly acquisitive, private equity-backed organisation entering a significant phase of transformation. Following substantial investment and rapid expansion, the business is focused on creating a scalable finance function capable of supporting continued growth, acquisitions and international operations.

This is an opportunity for an exceptional Process Improvement Specialist to drive end-to-end optimisation across the core finance operating model. Working alongside senior finance leadership and executive stakeholders, you'll redesign processes, improve controls, eliminate inefficiencies and deliver measurable operational improvements across Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R).

This role is ideally suited to someone currently within a Big 4 consulting or advisory practice looking to step into industry where they can own transformation rather than advise on it.

The Role

Reporting into the Finance Transformation Lead, you'll become a key driver of operational excellence across the global finance organisation.

You'll assess current processes, identify improvement opportunities, build future-state operating models and lead implementation programmes that deliver sustainable change.

Working closely with Finance, Operations, Technology and external partners, you'll ensure finance processes become efficient, scalable and capable of supporting a complex, PE-backed business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
