About The Role

Join our Major Projects team as a Finance Support Assistant for Net Zero Teesside (NZT) based at our site in Redcar and Cleveland, and you’ll deliver complex work that really matters to our business, and the world around you. Provide professional services to project teams on site, supporting effective operational delivery, provide consistent, effective and efficient site support services in accordance with Balfour Beatty policies, and assist with timecard processing for blue collar workers to ensure accurate recording of data. What you'll be doing
Coordinates payroll activity utilising time and attendance system, Kronos in accordance with approved procedures for blue collar workers Collection and subsequent maintaining of all submitted workforce operatives’ payroll forms (ie holiday forms, pay query forms, absence forms, lodge forms) Process plant transactions, material receipts/GRN processing, invoice query resolution Ensure that all transactions are posted in a timely manner Ensure that site support processes are consistently and rigorously applied across all projects in line with company policies including liaising with operatives for compliance. Assist with resolution of both costing and payroll queries Live the Balfour Beatty Values Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm
Who We're Looking For
Experience of performing a site admin role Producing and reporting project cost either on a large site or across multiple sites in a construction environment The ability to work with people at various levels both internally within Balfour Beatty and externally to comply with the Balfour Beatty site support procedures is essential This is a position of responsibility involving receipting, invoice processing, payroll and project costing Previous experience of timekeeper duties is desirable A working knowledge of Oracle (or equivalent ERP cost management module) and construction/engineering working rule agreements is desirable
