Finance Support Officer
Salary: Up to £31,363 per annum Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester Contract: Full-Time, Part-Time
About Us
Creative Support is a large and successful not-for-profit social care charity supporting over 6,000 adults nationally, and also a provider of social housing. This role is an opportunity to be a key part of our large finance team, with an interesting range of tasks and responsibilities, including data analysis, transactional processing, and providing administrative support to the Head of Finance.
We are looking for a competent and caring individual who is interested in carrying out a varied and rewarding role as a Finance Support Officer in the Finance Department at our Head Office in Stockport, providing a warm and professional welcome to visitors to the department.
About the Role
The successful post holder will be a confident communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to engage with colleagues and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes and see tasks through to completion. You will have proven experience in administration and preferably have some experience of finance and the social care sector. You must have a high level of IT skills, and enjoy using those skills to follow and improve existing processes. You must be a proficient and confident user of Microsoft Excel.

The post holder must be able to plan and prioritise a varied workload, exercising initiative and judgement, and respond promptly and appropriately to all enquiries. The post holder will be required to handle information of a confidential nature and must observe the highest standards of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
