Job Title: Finance Business Intelligence Analyst
We’re looking for a Finance Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Finance team. This role is central to how Finance operates day-to-day, ensuring our systems, data, and reporting are accurate, reliable, and enabling better decision-making across the organisation.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with data, systems, and reporting tools, and who takes pride in accuracy and structure. You’ll play a key part in maintaining finance systems, developing reporting solutions, and supporting the wider Finance function with the data they rely on.
The work is varied and detail-focused. From system administration and data integrity to building Power BI reports and supporting finance processes, you’ll be involved in the operational backbone of Finance.
This role suits someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, improving how things work, and making sure the detail is right.
Finance Systems & Data Ownership
You’ll take ownership of key finance systems, ensuring data is accurate, up to date, and structured correctly. This includes systems related to timesheets, expenses, and company cards. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining data integrity so that Finance processes can run smoothly and without delays.
Reporting & Business Intelligence
You’ll design, build, and maintain reports using Power BI, working with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into clear, usable outputs. You’ll also develop and maintain Excel models to support financial analysis and reporting across the organisation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
