We're partnering exclusively with a well-established and well-known charitable organisation to find an experienced Finance Systems Consultant to provide interim support during a critical period. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining hands-on systems administration with process improvement and stakeholder engagement.
You'll take ownership of the day-to-day operation of key finance systems (SUN & Proactis) ensuring they remain stable, reliable and fit for purpose, while also supporting a range of ongoing enhancement projects.
The Role
You'll be responsible for:
- Providing day-to-day administration and support for finance systems.
- Troubleshooting system issues and resolving user queries.
- Managing system configuration, user access and data integrity.
- Working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver system improvements.
- Supporting upgrades, testing, process enhancements and documentation.
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, controls and the overall user experience.

About You
We're looking for someone with:
- Strong experience supporting enterprise finance systems within a complex organisation.
- Experience administering SunSystems (or a similar ERP).
- A solid understanding of finance processes, including month-end, reporting and financial controls.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
- Previous experience working with system vendors and managing support requests.
- An accounting qualification (or qualified by experience) would be advantageous.
