Job Title
Harbor is seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to oversee the successful delivery of complex legal technology and financial systems projects, with a primary focus on Elite 3E and Aderant Expert implementations, upgrades, cloud migrations, and related business transformation initiatives.
Role Overview
The Delivery Lead will be accountable for the overall success, quality, and execution of multiple client engagements simultaneously. Working closely with Project Managers, Engagement Leads, Solution Consultants, Technical Consultants, and client stakeholders, the role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with agreed quality standards.
This is a senior client-facing position requiring strong leadership, consulting experience, and a deep understanding of the legal services industry. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while driving delivery excellence across a portfolio of projects.
The role requires balancing strategic oversight and hands-on consulting, proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and ensuring exceptional outcomes for clients and the business.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Delivery Leadership
- Assume overall accountability for delivery success across multiple concurrent client engagements.
- Ensure projects are delivered in alignment with agreed scope, timelines, and quality expectations.
- Provide hands-on delivery oversight throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation through go-live and post-implementation support.
- Identify project risks and issues early and drive appropriate mitigation and resolution activities.
- Act as an escalation point for delivery-related issues and concerns.
- Facilitate difficult conversations and guide clients through complex decision-making processes.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships through consistent delivery excellence and industry knowledge.
- Contribute to client satisfaction, referenceability, and long-term account growth.
- Establish and enforce delivery standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Promote continuous improvement across delivery processes and client engagements.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to project teams throughout delivery.
- Mentor team members and contribute to the ongoing development of consulting capabilities.

Commercial and Financial Oversight
- Identify potential scope changes and support change control processes.
- Work with Engagement Leads and commercial stakeholders to manage project profitability and contractual obligations.
- Support project recovery activities when delivery challenges arise.
Practice Development
- Contribute to the evolution of delivery methodologies, tools, and governance frameworks.
- Support business development activities, including solution reviews, project planning, and proposal development.
- Share lessons learned and best practices across the team.
- Maintain knowledge of legal technology trends, Elite 3E / Aderant Expert capabilities, and industry best practices.
Education, Experience, and Other Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Relevant consulting, financial systems, or change management certifications are advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum 8-12 years of experience delivering enterprise software, financial systems, or business transformation projects.
- Demonstrated experience leading multiple concurrent client engagements in a consulting or professional services environment.
- Strong experience delivering complex software implementation projects.
- Previous experience within the legal services sector strongly preferred.
- Direct experience with Elite 3E, Aderant Expert, or other legal practice management and financial management systems highly desirable.
- Experience working with law firms and understanding legal finance, billing, matter management, and operational processes.
- Proven track record of managing senior stakeholder relationships, including executive-level client sponsors.

Other Requirements
- Based in the United Kingdom with the ability to travel as required.
- Willingness to visit client sites throughout the UK and internationally when necessary.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Ability to work effectively with remote and global teams.
