Finance Technology Analyst

We're looking for a Finance Technology Analyst to sit at the intersection of our finance and technology functions. This is a hands-on, varied role: you'll own the administration of Elite 3E - our practice management system - while also supporting the wider finance team with data extracts, Excel-based analysis, and Power BI reporting.

You'll be the go-to person for finance system queries, user set-up and access management, and you'll play a key part in making sure our data works as hard as we do. If you enjoy solving problems, working closely with a knowledgeable team, and turning data into clear insight, this role is a great fit.

The ideal candidate will be resilient, commercially driven, and champion our culture and values being Compassionomics, Laser-like Focus, Humour, and being Boundaryless.

Responsibilities

System Administration - Elite 3E

  • Set up, maintain, and deactivate user accounts and roles within Elite 3E in line with access control policies.
  • Administer and maintain system configuration, including matter types, billing arrangements, and workflow settings.
  • Carry out routine system housekeeping, data integrity checks, and period-end support activities.
  • Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders on system updates, patches, and issue resolution.
  • Document system processes, configuration changes, and user guidance materials.
  • Coordinate finance User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release testing activities for system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes, working with vendors and internal stakeholders to plan test cycles, track issues, and confirm sign-off before go-live.

User Support & Helpdesk

  • Act as the first point of contact for finance system queries from fee earners, and gcTrust members.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues quickly and clearly, escalating to third-party support where necessary.
  • Deliver ad hoc training and guidance to users on Elite 3E functionality and best practice.
  • Maintain a log of recurring issues and proactively recommend improvements to reduce repeat queries.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
