About the Role
As a Finance Transformation Manager, you will lead large-scale programmes that transform how businesses operate financially. This dynamic role combines strategic vision, operating model design, and technology-enabled execution to deliver sustainable business outcomes for clients. What Your Days Will Look Like

Strategy & Operating Model Design
- Lead the development of finance vision and strategy, assessing current operating models to design target operating models (TOMs) aligned with business objectives.
- Align organisation structure, governance, service delivery, and capabilities while translating strategy into clear transformation roadmaps and implementation plans.

Business Architecture
- Design modern finance architectures that integrate processes, data, technology, controls, and innovation trends, ensuring alignment across business functions.
- Clarify the role of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, automation) in future finance operations.

Process Diagnostics & Transformation
- Conduct current-state assessments of finance processes like procure-to-pay (P2P), order-to-cash (O2C), record-to-report (R2R), and FP&A.
- Identify pain points and co-design future-state processes that align with best practices, compliance needs, and digital opportunities.

Technology Enablement (Digital Core)
- Drive the adoption of modern finance technology platforms, including:
- ERP/EPM system design & deployment (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud, Workday).
- Integration of automation, analytics, and AI to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with clients on data-driven finance solutions that optimise accuracy, agility, and performance.
- Drive the adoption of modern finance technology platforms, including:

Business Case & Value Realisation
- Develop and justify business cases for transformation initiatives.
- Lead delivery and realise measurable benefits, analysing impacts on cost savings, risk reduction, and ROI.

Stakeholder Management
- Lead workstreams or components across global teams, ensuring adherence to milestones, quality standards, and risk controls.
- Foster strong relationships with senior stakeholders in diverse, often virtual settings.

Global Delivery & Collaboration
- Operate autonomously while collaborating effectively across time zones, cultures, and hybrid environments.
- Contribute to delivery outcomes in office, client-site, or remote settings.

Capability Development & Knowledge Sharing
- Support internal knowledge sharing, tool development, and thought leadership on finance transformation trends and industry innovations.
Is This Role for You?
You’ll thrive in this position if you possess:
- Expertise in:
- Finance transformation or business architecture design (eticity in the finance function’s operating model, innovation, and digitalisation).
- Core finance processes (e.g., P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A) with practical transformation experience.
- Business analysis & architecture (e.g., process mapping, modelling, systems requirements).
- Technical fluency:
- Familiarity with ERP/EPM systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday).
- Knowledge of AI, analytics, triage sequencing & analytics (e.g., AI/ML tools, RPA software).
- Experience with data visualisation (Power BI, Alteryx).
- Process mining/diagnostic tools (e.g., Celonis, Signavio).
- Delivery framework expertise (e.g., Agile, hybrid, or Waterfall methodologies).
- Change management experience to ensure user adoption.
