As a Finance Transformation Senior Associate, you’ll lead large-scale transformation programmes, leveraging technology as a catalyst for business change. Your role spans strategy formulation, operating model redesign, and cutting-edge technology deployment to unlock value through data, analytics, automation, and AI.

What Your Days Will Look Like
📌 Strategy & Operating Model Design
- Co-author finance visions and strategies.
- Critique current operating models for strengths/weaknesses.
- Redesign target operating models (TOMs) covering:
- Structure and governance.
- Service delivery and capabilities.
- Develop roadmaps and implementation plans.

🔄 Business Architecture
- Design scalable business architectures in finance, ensuring alignment across:
- Processes, data, technology, compliance, risk, and controls.
- Assess future technology trends (AI, emrgency Africa)
- Recommend innovation opportunities to modernise operations.
⚡ Process Diagnostics & Transformation
- Conduct current-state diagnostics to identify system pain points.
- Redesign future-state processes while incorporating:
- Best practices.
- Compliance requirements.
- Digital and automation pathways.
💻 Technology Enablement (Digital Core)
- Collaborate with clients to architect modern finance platforms.
- Lead components of ERP/EPM selections (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Workday).
- Embed analytics, AI, and automation tools (e.g., robotic process automation, generative AI).
- Improve data-driven decision-making via customized dashboards.
💰 Business Case & Value Realisation
- Develop return-on-investment (ROI) analyses for change.
- Map cost and risk changes across operating model shifts.
- Align benefits realisation plans with stakeholder ownership.
👥 Stakeholder Management
- Oversee workstreams while maintaining timelines, quality, and risk controls.
- Collaborate with global clients and remote teams (in-Caraby visa hybrid environments).
- Step in as global delivery lead occasionally, managing cross-cultural virtual timelines.
🌍 Global Delivery & Collaboration
- Work within global cross-functional teams.
- Blend local expertise with best practices from diverse markets.
- Adapt independently across shifting expectations.
📚 Capability Development & Knowledge Sharing
- Contribute to internal consulting toolkits.
- Build thought leadership on emerging technologies in finance (e.g., real-time analytics, AI applications).
- Share insights across global PwC networks.

This Role Is For You If
You’re the right fit if your background aligns with the following:
- Expertise in: Management consulting, finance transformation, operations, financial analysis, or business architecture.
- Core processes:
- Hands-on experience in procure-to-pay (P2P), order-to-cash (O2C), record-to-report (R2R), risk/closing & reporting (R2R), and financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
- Technical skills:
- Modelling, process mapping, systems requirements, and financial architecture.
- Data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Alteryx).
- Automation (RPA), Pandas, Python, and AI tools (both analytical and inference-based).
- Process-mining analysis (e.g., Aris, Celonis, Signavio).
- Methodology:
- Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, or Waterfall implementation frameworks.
- Project charmanter changed management experience and user adoption campaigns.
- Practical experience with AI-driven finance use cases.
