As part of the Finance Transformation team you will be working closely with clients and it is critical that you establish trust and credibility quickly to build effective relationships. You must be a team player, have a ‘can do’ attitude and understand that the best solutions come from collaboration and exchange of ideas. You will be a problem solver, creative thinker, and self-starter, who is organised, proactive and inquisitive. Ideally you will already have been involved in Transformation projects and can demonstrate the value delivered to organisations with which you’ve worked. You should be comfortable in managing a team and juggling multiple deadlines. You will contribute to client proposals and presentations and our clients will see you as a trusted advisor to work closely with them in identifying, analysing, and solving their business challenges.

• Finance qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT etc)
• Management & PQE experience with an established portfolio of work experience, ideally within a professional services environment
• Strong academic record: preferably with a relevant or business-focused degree (such as finance, accounting, business management or data analytics)
• Proven experience in finance transformation projects, including process redesign, system implementation and/ or operating model development
• Experience in designing and implementing Finance Target Operating Models, including organisational design, service delivery models and/or governance frameworks
• Strong understanding of finance processes and what ‘good looks like’ (e.g. across financial planning & analysis (FP&A), record-to-report (R2R), procure-to-pay (P2P), and order-to-cash (O2C))
• Able to lead engagements, planning and facilitating workshops to confirm objectives and requirements, identifying processes gaps, and analyse the impact and propose solutions to address these
• Ability to work in cross-functional project teams, manage stakeholders, and drive change in complex environments. Excellent project management skills, with a strong track record of delivering transformation initiatives on time and within budget
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders and influence at all levels of the organisation
• Strong client relationship management skills
• Must be a team player, able to work in virtual teams and independently
• Proactive, organised, and self-motivated
• High proficiency in MS Office (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint)
• Demonstrate and operate in line with RSM’s core values of excellence, teamwork, integrity, respect, and stewardship
• Experience of managing a team and coaching more junior team members

Desirable

• Experience of working with (or knowledge of or interest in) ERP platforms and other technology solutions (e.g. Alteryx);
• Experience of proposal writing and business development
• Exposure to different methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Waterfall, SCRUM etc.)
• Hands-on experience with different finance technology platforms (e.g. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, Blackline and /or Anaplan)
• Knowledge of change management principles and techniques, including stakeholder engagement and communication planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
