Our Finance Transformation (Controllership) team works with some of the world’s most successful and iconic organisations to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and agility of their finance functions. Specifically, we support Financial Controllers and CFOs transform the Record to Report process through a combination of process, policy and technology solutions to deliver the required business outcomes.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Manager / Senior Manager to join our growing team. As a Manager / Senior Manager, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional client service and driving impactful transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Leading teams to assess current state finance processes, systems, and controls to identify opportunities for improvement and value creation.
- Design and develop future state solutions leveraging technology, leading practices, and innovative approaches.
- Facilitation of client working sessions to develop system requirements,
- Leading client and Deloitte teams involved in designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementing finance solutions
- Manage the project implementation of finance transformation initiatives, including process redesign, system implementation, and organisational change management
- Develop strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on finance transformation matters.
- Contribute to business development activities by identifying and pursuing new opportunities.

Connect to your skills and professional experience
Required Skills:
- A relevant degree, or equivalent experience.
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CIPFA qualified
- Strong communication, team building, teaming and presentation experience
- Proven technical accounting or advisory-related implementation experience in finance improvement projects
- Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Project management / leading teams to deliver client outcomes
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments / responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience of working with senior finance stakeholders (eg CFO, Controller)
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in working with BlackLine, SAP Concur, Workiva, SAP or Oracle Finance systems
- Industry experience within any of Energy, Resources & Industrials; Technology & Media; Consumer or Healthcare and Life Sciences
- Experience with specific finance transformation methodologies and frameworks.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies such as cloud computing, automation, and artificial intelligence.
- Coding abilities and experience of extracting meaningful insights from complex datasets through proficient data analysis
- Experience in developing or implementing AI solutions

Finance Transformation
Our clients want to achieve maximum value from digital transformation investments in Finance. That’s where we come in. By taking a holistic view of performance improvement, including strategy, process design and technology enablement, we support the smooth operation of transformations.
Personal independence
Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
