At OQC, we aren’t just theorising about the future; we’re building it. Born from a philosophy of bold innovation, we’ve successfully transitioned quantum computing from an academic dream into a commercial reality.

The most exciting thing is that we’re just getting started and we’ve recently closed our £260 million Series C funding round – the largest fundraise ever completed by a quantum computing company in Europe.

The Purpose

As our Finance Transformation & Project Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in strengthening and evolving our Finance function during an exciting period of growth.

You'll take ownership of hands-on finance transformation activities, improving financial records, enhancing audit readiness, strengthening controls, and supporting key projects that leave the Finance function in a significantly stronger position.

The Role

This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity for someone who enjoys getting into the detail and seeing work through to completion.

You'll combine strong technical accounting knowledge with excellent analytical skills to improve financial data, documentation and processes, while supporting transformation initiatives across Finance.

From rebuilding audit support and investigating historical transactions to improving NetSuite and supporting operational finance, you'll have a direct impact on the quality and effectiveness of our Finance function.

What You'll Be Working On

  • Strengthen audit readiness by reviewing historical accounting records, preparing audit working papers, improving documentation and supporting robust financial controls.
  • Own balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and ensure issues are resolved with complete supporting evidence.
  • Support finance transformation initiatives, including NetSuite enhancements, system testing, data cleansing, migration and validation activities.
  • Build and maintain structured Excel workbooks, reconciliations, trackers and finance documentation to improve reporting and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with process improvements by documenting procedures and implementing practical changes across the Finance function.
  • Provide flexible support across month-end activities, payroll, treasury, VAT, reconciliations and wider operational finance responsibilities.
  • Contribute to strategic finance projects, including treasury initiatives, ERP improvements and other transformation programmes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
