Why we're hiring:

As part of our ongoing transformation, we are seeking a Finance Transformation Senior Analyst to join our Enterprise Technology Finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting and strengthening our financial operations during a pivotal period of change. We are looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible and make an immediate impact on this important transformation journey.

What you'll be doing:

Finance Transformation & Project Delivery

  • Support the delivery of key finance transformation initiatives across the Enterprise Technology Finance function, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.
  • Manage project plans, track progress, and proactively identify and mitigate risks and dependencies.
  • Partner with Finance, Tax, Treasury, Technology, and Operations teams to gather, validate, and transform financial data that supports strategic decision-making.
  • Work closely with the ET Finance Transformation Senior Manager to drive transformation priorities and deliver business value.

Financial Planning, Analysis & Modelling

  • Support the redesign and implementation of enhanced budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Build financial models and scenario analyses to support investment decisions, cost optimisation, and long-term planning.
  • Deliver meaningful insights through financial analysis of performance, trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure financial plans remain aligned to business objectives.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Build strong relationships across Finance, Technology, and the wider business, acting as a trusted partner throughout transformation programmes.
  • Prepare high-quality presentations and reports for senior leadership, communicating progress, risks, and recommendations.
  • Facilitate discussions and workshops to drive alignment, decision-making, and successful project outcomes.

Process Improvement & Change

  • Identify opportunities to streamline, standardise, and automate finance processes and controls.
  • Develop and implement best-practice processes and documentation to improve efficiency, governance, and scalability.
  • Stay informed on emerging finance transformation trends, tools, and technologies, bringing innovative ideas to enhance ways of working.

What you'll need:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Fully Qualified Accountant – ACA, ACCA, or CA.
  • Operating in Fast-Paced Environments – Proven ability to perform under pressure, particularly during transformation initiatives and year-end reporting cycles.
  • Technical Accounting Knowledge – Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting standards is desirable.

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Systems & Tools – Advanced Excel skills, with experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Data & Visualisation – Comfortable working with large, complex datasets and leveraging tools such as Power BI or Tableau to generate insights.
  • Financial Analysis & Modelling – Strong analytical capability, with experience building robust financial models and assumptions.

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Project Delivery – Highly organised, with a track record of managing competing priorities and delivering to tight deadlines.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Confident communicator, able to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for a broad range of stakeholders.
