We support our clients with finance, operational and technology transformation, intelligent automation, and people and change management. From process tweaks to major organisational structure optimisation, back office to external reporting, cost reduction to working capital issues, we apply innovation, collaboration, and technology acumen to bring best-in-class solutions to your problems.
What You Can Expect:
Seniors Consultants contribute by working with our clients as part of an engagement team with primary responsibility for direct supervision of Graduates and Consultants. Senior Consultants are core engagement team members who perform a variety of activities on projects which are assigned by engagement team leaders. Senior Consultants facilitate the execution of project work plans and accept responsibility for appropriate decision-making ranging from staffing and preparation of deliverables to application of our common methodology.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of key finance processes and associated risks including order to cash, procure to pay and record to report.
- Participate in workshops with client stakeholders to obtain an understanding of key finance processes, risks, gaps and inefficiencies across people, process, technology, data and internal controls.
- Document the current state of the client’s key finance processes via process flow diagrams.
- Identify, document and communicate key finance process risks, gaps and inefficiencies.
- Evaluate, synthesise, organize and interpret data sets.
- Proactively identify, document and communicate innovative ideas to simplify, standardise, automate and introduce best practices to key finance processes.
- Support the design of a client’s finance target operating model across people, process, technology, data and internal controls.
- Draft final deliverables to capture the scope of the project, key observations, recommendations and suggested next steps.
- Execute project management, governance and administration tasks.
- Assist with business development through support of marketing initiatives.
- Maintain and further develop knowledge of emerging finance trends and technology through ongoing training, development and professional certification.
- Lead, mentor and advise consultants and junior team members.
- Effectively application of Protiviti’s policies and methodologies.
- Accurately record time.

Do Your Talents Include the Following?
- Experience in a Finance / Finance transformation role within consulting or industry and we will consider those with external/internal audit or financial accounting.
- Experience in the design and implementation of finance transformation initiatives (e.g. finance processes optimisation, finance target operating model, technology solutions underpinning finance processes – e.g. intelligent automation, closing and reconciliation tools etc.)
- Self-starter can operate independently as well as collaboratively.
- Proven track record of using creative and logical problem-solving abilities to solve client / customer challenges.
- Can demonstrate understanding of the management of the commercial, financial, and resourcing aspects of client projects.
- Demonstration of commercial awareness.
- Excellent leadership skills with strong mentoring and people development capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal, client relationship and team building skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrates resilience and the ability to maintain professional demeanour under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 toolkit.

Our Workplace and Employment Process
Protiviti practices a hybrid wording model, which is a combination of working in person with purpose and working remotely and is primarily dependent upon the needs of our client. The minimum requirement would be two days in the office or client site. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements varies by client, project, team, and other business factors. It can sometimes mean more of a full-time presence at our client. This model creates meaningful experiences for our people and our clients while offering a flexible environment. Our people work both in-person in local Protiviti offices and on client sites, which can include local, or UK wide travel based on our projects and client requests and commitments.
Remuneration and Benefits
Starting salaries are competitive and are based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the salary range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location.
Employees are eligible for medical and dental insurance cover, life assurance, pension scheme and receive up to 25 days holiday per calendar year. Protiviti also recognises up to 10 paid holidays each calendar year and we have additional benefits as part of the Robert Half Enterprise.
