We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Treasury Assistant to join our finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build or develop a career in treasury within a dynamic and supportive environment.
As a key member of the Treasury function, you will support day-to-day operations, ensuring accurate cash management, effective banking processes, and strong financial controls across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily cash positions and assist with short-term cash flow forecasting
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies
- Support the processing of payments, including supplier payments, payroll, and intercompany transfers
- Maintain banking documentation and assist with the opening, closing, and management of bank accounts
- Assist in managing company credit cards, expense claims, and treasury-related records
- Prepare treasury reports for senior management, including cash movements, balances, and variance analysis
- Support compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Liaise with internal teams and external banking partners as required
- Contribute to continuous improvements within treasury processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

About You
- Experience in a finance or treasury-related role is preferred (or a strong interest in treasury operations)
- Strong numerical accuracy with excellent attention to detail
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable handling financial data
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships
- A proactive, analytical mindset with a willingness to learn and develop
- Progress towards, or interest in, professional qualifications such as AAT or ACT (Association of Corporate Treasurers) is advantageous
