We are growing and would like to add a new member to our team. You will join a group of highly motivated individuals, to help us grow Phorest faster.

The Opportunity

The ideal candidate will be energized by this international scale, possessing a natural curiosity and eagerness to navigate financial, taxation, and compliance regulations across diverse geographical regions.

In this role, you will work closely with our wider finance team, including a Financial Accountant, Accounts Payable Assistant, and Payroll Manager, to deliver fully reconciled monthly management accounts and insightful variance analysis to the Finance Manager. This is a high-visibility career opportunity offering deep exposure to all facets of accounting within a rapidly scaling, international tech environment.

You will join a dynamic, collaborative team of professionals, receive comprehensive in-house training, and enjoy clear pathways for career progression as we grow.

This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months.

What You'll Do

You will play a key role in our month-end close and financial control processes, with responsibilities including:

  • Financial Management: Take full ownership of key P&L accounts and prepare robust balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Global Compliance: Manage international tax filings and compliance reporting across multiple regions.
  • Revenue Analysis: Conduct revenue analysis across seven distinct financial jurisdictions.
  • Process Innovation: Continuously review workflows to drive efficiencies, with a strong focus on automation and exploring AI tools to optimize financial reporting.
  • Regulatory Alignment: Stay abreast of changing accounting, reporting, and auditing standards, ensuring our internal processes are updated accordingly.
  • Audit Support: Assist with the year-end audit process to guarantee the timely delivery of Group Financial Statements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, collaborating with department heads to ensure strict adherence to financial timelines.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
