Title: Financial Accountant (12-Month FTC)
Location: Watford (Hybrid - 2 days WFH)
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 + bonus
12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Our client, a well-established manufacturing group based in Watford, is looking for a proactive Financial Accountant to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified accountant to gain valuable experience within a fast-paced, operational business while supporting key financial reporting and business decision-making.

- Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
- Lead the month-end process, including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
- Produce balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the integrity of financial records
- Support the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Deliver accurate financial reports and performance analysis to support business decisions
- Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight and resolve finance queries
- Assist with cash flow forecasting and other ad hoc financial analysis
- Support continuous improvements to finance processes and controls

Role Requirements:
- Part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) or AAT qualified
- Strong understanding of month-end processes and management reporting
- Advanced Excel skills with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Proactive, detail-oriented approach and the confidence to work collaboratively across the business
