A high‑growth consumer brand with an international footprint is seeking a Financial Accountant on an interim basis for 6 months to play a pivotal role in their process improvement plans and system development and in the lead up to their year end audit.
The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening financial controls, enhancing the accuracy of financial records, and supporting the implementation of improvements within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
The Role
The Financial Accountant will:
- Conduct a comprehensive review and cleanse of the Fixed Asset Register
- Implement and optimise the Fixed Asset module within the ERP system
- Assist with the ongoing integration of web transactions into the ERP system, helping to streamline financial reporting and improve automation
- Investigate and resolve existing balance sheet reconciliation issues relating to key accounts
- Lead the setup and configuration of new legal entities (Inc. and Holding Company) within the existing ERP system
- Support the implementation of the annual budget within the ERP system
- Assist with wider finance transformation initiatives and continuous improvement projects

About You
- Professional qualification (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
- Proven experience implementing or improving ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Extensive fixed asset accounting knowledge
- Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
Based in Southampton and offering hybrid working.

Paying £325 - 3375p/d Outside IR35.
