Your new opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to work within the Customer Solutions Finance team, part of the Finance function for a large corporate organisation. The Customer Solutions Finance Team are responsible for the delivery of timely, accurate management reports with this role primarily focused on operating costs.

Reporting to the Financial Control and Reporting Manager, the Accountant will initially focus on the preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting of results to management along with business planning and forecasting. This will involve the Financial Accountant developing both business and accounting knowledge whilst engaging with various stakeholders across the Group.

The role will suit a dedicated and highly motivated individual who is a self-starter with a forward-thinking and proactive approach. You will enjoy working with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders and be a key point of contact for other Finance teams and budget holders. An ambitious and resourceful candidate will discover a lot of scope and opportunity for this role to develop and evolve.

What you'll need

  • Full Professional Accountancy Qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing stakeholders and resources.
  • Experience of using MS Excel to interrogate large volumes of data and for mathematical / financial modelling.
