Financial Accountant | Consumer Industry (Drinks) | £55,000 + 15% bonus (depending on experience) + bonus | South West London (3 days in office) | Permanent role
JasperRose are partnering with an award-winning, luxury drinks business (FMCG) that is looking to hire a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis, based in their London Head Office (hybrid working). This is an opportunity to work for a market-leading business in their industry, with a turnover of £125 million with plans to grow a further 10% this year.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a newly created role due to growth, where you will be operating as the number two to the Financial Controller. You will be owning areas of the month-end and year-end as well as driving improvements across their cashflow forecasting and automating the financial controls environment.

Responsibilities include:
- Supporting with the consolidation of the group accounts in accordance with UK GAAP
- Leading on month-end accounting including balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset register
- Playing a key part in the production of VAT returns
- Working with the Financial Controller to drive process improvement in their cashflow forecasting and managing FX
- Managing the stock accounting process
- Driving process improvement across the group including looking at ways to automate processes
What they are looking for
- Newly Qualified Accountant from practice (ACA Qualified)
- Experience auditing or preparing accounts for consumer clients or stock related businesses a plus
- Proven experience of recommending improvements to existing processes and a desire to drive change is key
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables and v lookups) is essential
- A can-do attitude and a desire to learn and develop in this role is key
- Ambitious with the desire to progress into a Financial Controller role longer term
