About The Team
We are building a world-class International Accounting team based in the UK. As a Financial Accountant, you will be a core contributor, supporting our mission to operate with precision and scale seamlessly. Your responsibilities will include critical day-to-day accounting functions, month-end closures, financial reporting, and strategic system improvements.
Specifically, you will:
- Collaborate cross-functionally across UK, EMEA, and global teams to refine internal processes, controls, and systems.
- Ensure Anduril remains financially compliant and globally competitive as we expand operations.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will play a pivotal financial operational role with responsibilities including:

Monthly & Annual Financial Statements:
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts in adherence to UK GAAP (FRS 102).
- Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements.

Account Reconciliations & Balance Sheets:
- Reconcile key balance sheet accounts, such as banks, intercompany balances, accounts payable, fixed assets, prepayments, and accruals—aligning with UK GAAP compliance and internal reporting deadlines.
- Confirm all multi-currency transactions are accurately reflected.

Month-End Close Processes:
- Assist with prompt month-end closes, including journal preparation, posting entries, accruals, and prepayments, under direction from the International Accounting Manager.

Global Ledger Management:
- Maintain general ledger efficiency, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with ERP processes.

Integrity for Audit & External Reporting:
- Support the annual audit process by providing detailed audit trails, schedules, and explanations to external auditors.

Process Optimization & Technology Integration:
- Proactively identify inefficiencies in accounting workflows and implement best practices:
- Streamline processes in our new Oracle Fusion ERP system.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with internal teams across UK offices, headquarters, and global subsidiaries to refine cross-border financial accounting.
Who You Are
We are looking for financial accountants who thrive in dynamic environments and are capable of driving growth, precision, and innovation. Ideal candidates should have:
- 2+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within fast-paced corporate, financial, or midsized-tech environments.
- Deep understanding of multi-currency global accounting and experience in international finance.
- Preference for ACA, CPA, or equivalent professional certification.
- UK GAAP (FRS 102) proficiency is mandatory; bonus points for IFRS and US GAAP familiarity.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with ERP systems:
- Preference given to Oracle Fusion, SAP, or other scalable ERP platforms.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including clear verbal and written communication.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset for continuous operational improvement.
- Experience with budget tracking, forecasting, and internal control enhancements.
- Proven ability to prioritize competing demands in a scalable, fast-moving organization.
- Data-driven approach and commitment to risk mitigation and process documentation.
